The CHILD Cancer Fund est. 1994 by a group of Jacksonville parents whose children were receiving treatment for cancer at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Nemours Children’s Clinic. This grass roots organization successfully raises funds to provide Nemours Children’s Clinic with a financial grant to secure the position of a Child Life Specialist and to provide financial assistance to the parents of children battling cancer.
