What’s the MVi48?

Composer, musician Maxwell Lee (Project Maximus) and filmmaker James Siler (KumarPictures.com) conceived ‘The Music Video Invitational’ (MVi48) project to showcase local talent to a worldwide audience and to showcase Downtown Jacksonville to worldwide talent. Musicians and video artists coalesced in the SPARK District within a 48-hour period to produce music videos and original music. Final videos were showcased at a publicized event hosted at 1904 Music Hall.

The MVi48 project was sponsored in part by the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville and Florida Blue.

What’s the Spark Grant?

The SPARK Grant is a Cultural Council initiative focusing on growing the economic vitality of downtown Jacksonville through unique arts and cultural experiences. Projects in consideration for the Spark Grant were sought from nonprofit organizations and individual artists from the five-county First Coast area to ignite the walkable urban district with arts and culture.
