MVi48_Spark Grant 2016

What’s the MVi48?

Composer, musician Maxwell Lee (Project Maximus) and filmmaker James Siler (KumarPictures.com) conceived ‘The Music Video 48-Hour Invitational’ (MVi48) project to showcase local talent to a worldwide audience and to showcase Downtown Jacksonville to worldwide talent. Musician and video artist produced music videos in the SPARK District within a 48-hour period. Videos were shown at a publicized event hosted at 1904 Music Hall.

Projects for the 2016 cycle were sought from nonprofit organizations and individual artists from the five-county First Coast area to ignite the walkable urban district with arts and culture.

Videos can be seen at MVi48.com

**Sponsored in part by the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville and Florida Blue.
